The Javan Rusa Deer from Mauritius Island has it's own SCI category in the record book and you will be hunting for Gold Medal trophy up to 34" long. Now imaging, leaving your hotel room on the beach, mid-day to have a lunch on the terrace of a beautfiul Country Club, of a perfectly manicured Golf course across the street from your Hotel, you will dine on fresh Lobster, Fish or meat carpaccio, fresh heart of palms before driving to the hunting Estate 10 minutes away. Once you step out of the car you will see and hear about 200 Rusa deer starting the rute....

How to get to Mauritius? The shortest way is if you are hunting in Africa, as Mauritius is a 4 hour flight from South Africa. If you are flying through Europe is it about 10 hours.

The Fishing is good year-round. Prime Time for Deep Sea Fishing: October to March.
