Indianhead Camps is a great way to get introduced to the world of hunting!  Indianhead Ranch closes to private hunters for 5 weeks every summer to provide the opportunity for youth to experience the great outdoors.  Recommended by Safari Club International, Indianhead camps is a great summer activity for youth ages 10-17.  With access to the entire ranch for a one week camp experience, campers will learn many tools that will provide to be helpful in future hunting situations. 

Camps are offered at two levels.  Apprentice camp are for those youth that are not Hunter Safety Certified.  Advance camp is constructed with those who already are Hunter Safety Certified in mind.  Both camps offer Bow Hunter Safety Certification.  Guests from Texas Parks and Wildlife and Park Service give presentations to campers.  GPS training, Achery, Skeet shooting, and a Overnight Campout are just a few of the activities each camper participates in.
