More than Hunting

The finest fair-chase hunting experience in Texas.

With 10,000 acres of pristine, open-range Estate bordering the dramatic cliffs of the Devils River in Del Rio, Texas, Indianhead Ranch is an ideal destination for hunters seeking trophy-winning exotic game. The ranch has been properly and expertly managed by one family for over 27 years and you will immediately notice the care they have taken to ensure every detail: from the health of the animals to the luxury of the accommodations and fare.

Your hunting guide has resided in the region throughout his life and knows the topography of the area and behavior of the free-range game on the Estate. After a successful day of stalking your trophy, Indianhead is home to over 25 species, you will be rewarded with a delicious meal prepared by the ranch's private chef before retiring to the comfort of your cabin.

To accommodate hunters of all ages and ability levels, it is noteworthy that Indianhead Ranch has been recognized for its outstanding Summer Youth Camps, which focus on wildlife conservation and are recommended by the Safari Club International Foundation.

For those who wish to schedule a hunting experience with a particular group, we also organize and execute special group hunts. As an example, our annual Ladies' Hunting Weekend is held every September and focuses on all aspects of hunting from target shooting, to stalking and harvesting animals, to preparing game meat and pairing wines.

In addition to renowned exotic and native hunts on Indianhead Ranch's primary property, we offer exceptional adventures on our sister properties. Our long-standing partnerships with these landowners and our guides' intimate familiarity with the game, landscape, and waters ensure exciting and successful hunts and fishing expeditions:

  • Whitetail deer hunting for trophy bucks in LaSalle County, TX on a 4,500-acre, high-fenced private ranch.
  • Super exotic (over 15 species) game hunting on a 20,000 acre, open-range private estate.
  • Alligator hunting in a free-range area on the upper Texas Coast.
  • Nilgai hunting on a 15,000-acre private ranch on the Gulf's coastal plains near Raymondville, TX.
  • Spinner-, fly-, or bow-fishing on the clear water of Amistad Lake, which conveniently borders Indianhead Ranch.
  • Wild Turkey hunting for enormous gobblers near Cotulla, TX on a 4,000-acre private ranch on the San Antonio River
  • African safaris in Namibia for 20 different species on a 40,000-acre family-owned farm only two hours north of Windhoek International Airport
  • Deer hunting in the United Kingdom for 14 different species of deer, sheep, goat and wild boar.
